Elizabeth Fitzgerald, PA is currently practicing as a Physician Assistant with the inpatient Hematology group at Mayo Clinic Rochester and is an Instructor for the College of Medicine. She received her education at Western Michigan University where she also served as the public relations chair for her programs chapter of SAAPA. She currently is a member of the APAO membership committee. She has a passion for Palliative Care for the hematology patient and has undergone additional training through the Shirley Haynes Palliative Care Institute at California State University. Additional interests include CAR-T, Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma and the unique needs of the Adolescent and Young Adult patient population.

The Director-at-Large is an officer of APAO who must participate fully in the work of the BOD and contribute constructively to its deliberations.
AAPA House of Delegates Alternate: The House of Delegates (HOD) articulates the shared values, beliefs, and professional wisdom of PAs from all corners of the greater AAPA community. Made up of representatives from AAPA’s constituent organizations (i.e. APAO) and Student Academy, the HOD enacts policies and position statements on behalf of the profession.
The APAO Membership Committee is responsible for monitoring all aspects of APAO membership including the recruitment of new members and retention of existing members.
