The Advocacy Committee is dedicated to enhancing APAO’s role as the primary resource for PAs in oncology. While many PAs currently seek information from AAPA, APAO aims to establish itself as the leading subject matter expert in the field. Achieving a strong national presence requires significant effort, and a key focus of the committee is advancing awareness and support for the Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in oncology. Through strategic initiatives, this committee works to position APAO as the definitive authority for oncology PAs nationwide.
