The Association of PAs in Oncology (APAO) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA). We represent Physician Associates across all oncology disciplines.

Who We Are

Founded as a non-profit 501(c)(3) specialty association affiliated with the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), APAO brings together physician assistants from across the nation who are committed to excellence in cancer care. Our members work in hospital-based oncology, outpatient clinics, academic programs, and clinical research settings.

APAO is dedicated to advancing the role of physician assistants within oncology through continuous education, evidence-based practice, and leadership development to ensure exceptional patient care and professional growth within the oncology community.
