Everyone is encouraged to present new clinical practices or research results at the Symposium. Please be sure to review the following guidelines: Submission Guidelines: The primary/submitting author will receive an email message confirming the acceptance orrejection status of the abstract.All poster abstracts must be submitted by June 1\, 2026\, for consideration as a poster.All submissions must be de-identified in regard to author name(s)\, institution(s)/hospital(s)\, or other identifying data.Names and other identifying data will be hidden during the poster abstract review process.All poster abstracts must be no greater than 500 words.All poster abstracts must have at least three (3) learning objectives.Figures/tables are limited to three (3) per poster abstract and must include title.Proposals submitted to APAO may not be a forum for the promotion of commercial products. An industry sponsored poster session is offered separately. Any proprietary interest in the material presented must be indicated on this application in the poster abstract. If the proposal is accepted for presentation\, the author will be required to disclose the proprietary information to the audience.All authors are required to complete the disclosure section upon acceptance to present. Accepted industry posters: In the event that the lead author is unable to attend the Symposium to present their poster\, an authorized MSL or representative from the company may present on their behalf.Poster presenters must register for the Symposium. If your poster is accepted\, the lead presenter will receive a FREE Symposium registration.Poster boards will be provided by APAO. The dimensions for the posters should be no larger than 48 inches wide x 36  inches high. Posters that do not meet the size requirement may not be displayed. How much is parking?The New York Marriott Marquis does not have parking available. Will there be Wi-Fi?Complimentary basic wireless internet will be provided in both the guest rooms and the meeting space. How do I confirm my hotel reservation?To confirm your reservation\, please call the hotel Reservations Department at +1 (877) 303-0104. *Please note: APAO Headquarters is unable to view or modify your reservations.* When is the hotel cut-off date?The cut-off date for hotel reservations is Friday\, July  10\, 2026. After completing the survey\, you will be redirected to a form where you can input the number of CMEs earned and the system will generate a certificate that will be sent to your email. Be sure to keep track of your earned CMEs to avoid delays when filling in the form. If the sponsorship option you were interested in is not listed\, it has already been reserved.   You will need your company website\, description\, and logo readily available to complete the form.  For payment\, you can pay via credit card using the online payment portal\, or you can select the “invoice me” option to mail in a check.  An invoice will automatically be sent to the email used to register.  How many attendees does APAO anticipate?Based on last year’s attendance\, we are anticipating about 200 attendees.  When will I receive the pre- and post-symposium attendee list? What information is included in the attendee list?Exhibitors and sponsors will receive the pre-Symposium attendee list approximately two weeks before the Symposium\, and the final one within three business days of the last day of the symposium. Information shared will include name\, designation\, organization\, city/state\, and email address.  In compliance with CAN-SPAM privacy laws\, APAO is required to give attendees the option to “opt-out” of the registrant listing. This final registration list will NOT include those attendees who opt-out. What is the cancellation policy?The total amount for exhibit space is due upon reserving of space and signing of the contract. In the event an Exhibitor cancels a contract\, APAO must be notified in writing before June 1\, 2026 for refunds to be issued. There will be a $350.00 administration fee assessed for all cancellations. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after June 1\, 2026.
